About our Doctor Dr. My Hanh Trieu completed her dental training at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1998. Her philosophy is to provide personalized, gentle and comprehensive dental care. She listens to her patients’ concerns and patiently works with them to achieve a beautiful smile with healthy gums and teeth. Dr. Trieu, with many years of experience, offers you the best and newest techniques to serve your dental needs.
She has been certified with Align Technology for the Invisalign orthodontic system for clear braces, and also certified with Progressive Orthodontic Seminar for traditional orthodontic braces.

Payment Options It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high quality treatment. We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs including cash, check, and credit card payments, with a financing option through Care Credit. We thoroughly explain your options so that we can accommodate your needs.
Insurance We are happy to work together with you and your insurance company to make sure that you receive the maximum benefit possible under your individual policy. For your convenience, we accept assignment for all PPO insurance companies, some discount plans, and our in-house Perfect Smile Dental Plan that offers special rates for patients without insurance. We accept CASH, CHECK, VISA, and MASTERCARD. Interest-free financing is available through Care Credit on approved credit.

What to expect
Exam/Consultation Your first visit will consist of an examination and discussion of potential treatment options. This important visit will allow the doctor to diagnose your dental needs including your periodontal health, detection of cavities, restorative treatments as well as orthodontic evaluation. During the initial examination, we encourage you to ask any questions you might have.
Our Scheduling Goals We recognize that you will have obligations during the day, typically involving work or school. When active treatment begins, our goal is to have as few inconveniences as possible.
Regular Check-ups Regular checkups with your family dentist are very important. We suggest a regular six month check-up and cleaning unless there are exceptions ordered by the dentist. Please note that the dentist does not just clean your teeth, but the check-up also includes checking for cavities, your gum condition, soft and hard tissue examination, and oral hygiene.

Brushing One of the most important responsibilities for keeping a great set of teeth is keeping your teeth and gums healthy through excellent brushing and flossing. Poor oral hygiene will cause cavities and bad breath. Poor brushing can cause bleeding and swollen gums. More instructions will be provided during your treatment in our office.
A healthier diet We realize that “junk food” is a reality to our younger patients, but it is important to cut down on the amount of sweet and sugary foods that you eat including soft drinks and soda. It is a good idea to rinse with water after eating any of these in order to dilute the sugars and wash them from your teeth. Try to limit yourself to no more than one soda a day and drink more water, as it is much better for you.
